Japanese wearables company AI Silk recently announced their new ‘Lead Skin’ soft haptic glove for VR. What’s interesting is that it uses conductive fibers to not only measure movements through current impedance changes when they stretch, but it also can deliver small electric shocks to various parts of the hand to simulate haptic feedback, foregoing bulky motors.
