Saw this cool project recently (hat-tip to Adafruit blog). Thingiverse user “ThreeD-Michael” has created a 3D printed whistle keychain, and I think projects like this showcase the direction things are going once the designers and engineers of the world get more involved in open hardware.
Users in the comments are very positive towards this design and some even say it reaches over 90 decibels.
